It's Official...DMV Are You Ready...

Wytheville, VA - As head coach of the Haulers, what excites me most is getting to see players we might otherwise miss. Maybe you’re the lineman who made the block that won the game. Your name might never show up in the box score, but your coach knows what you did. Now that coach can put the film in front of our staff. The Independent World Football Federation (IWFF) front office and I are excited to give players at every position that opportunity.

The first opportunity is this Saturday, November 7, in Charlottesville! IWFF players, get with your team for tryout information. When you register online, enter IWFF at checkout to take $25 off the $50 fee. You pay just $25. This league discount will also apply to Haulers tryouts throughout our 2027 and 2028 recruiting cycles.

Here’s what IWFF players can earn during the 2027 season:

IWFF Player of the Week, presented by Virginia Haulers Arena Football. Each week, head coaches from both conferences can nominate a player and send us the film. Our football staff will select one winner league-wide, spotlight that player and their team with a game highlight, and invite them to our first tryout for the 2028 season with their registration fee covered.

IWFF Player of the Year, presented by Virginia Haulers Arena Football. The season winner earns a direct invitation to 2028 Haulers training camp. That player skips the open tryout and comes straight to camp to compete for a paid spot on our final roster.

Throughout the season, the Haulers will share the IWFF schedule so fans can follow these athletes where they play. The IWFF will share Haulers tryout notices with its coaches and game announcements with its fans.

Saturday’s tryout: SOCA Field House, 875 Belvedere Blvd., Charlottesville, VA
Check-in opens at 7:30 p.m. We hit the field at 8:10 p.m.
Bring your cleats. Kickers will have a separate tryout.

IWFF players, I’m looking forward to seeing what you can do. See you Saturday!
